RESTLESS IN PENNSYLVANIA // When Family Travel Plans Don’t Go According to Plan

Today we are sharing with you all a catch-up vlog of our time in Pennsylvania. It’s a bit long, so bear with us, but we wanted to fit as much of our memories of Pennsylvania in July that we could because, let’s be honest…someday, when YouTube is old news and a thing of the past and our boys have all left home, we will be sitting at home alone binge-watching all of our wonderful memories together and re-reading all of your lovely comments and remembering these blazing summer days and our boys catching stars (fireflies) in jars at night 😀

We celebrated 3 out of 5 boys’ birthdays in July. One had a golden birthday so we spent the whole day full of family fun at Hershey Park.

We released the music video for WE CAN with an awesome live event which was SO fun! If you haven’t seen that video you can find it here: https://youtu.be/a5MbIT0NCQw

We also got to take the boys to another children’s museum in Harrisburg, PA which was a TON of fun. Our boys have had the greatest homeschool education through their museum trips this year!

  1. Thanks for the sermonette about Nehemiah… we’re desperately trusting that He will provide where He has called us. I love to hear your heart to see revival for people to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

  2. Hi guys, I believe you can too! If you need a place to stay we can always find room for you here. We need to talk lol. When is a good time? Its regarding Florida. Love you and Happy Birthday to all. I also have a birthday in July. actually 2 Jackson and I.

  3. It can really be vulnerable sharing faith journeys – thank you for sharing yours. Jenn

    • Trent & Siobhán Awesome!!! Looking forward to continuing to hear your faith and His provision story. By the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony we will overcome!!! Sharing and hearing keeps us moving forward! Praise the Lord!!! Jenn

    • Thanks Jenn. We appreciate you guys so much! We love watching your faith journey as well. It was what drew us to you when we first saw your channel. We thought, ‘Hey…these people also believe God really wants us to trust Him with every area of our lives! Maybe we aren’t so weird after all.’ I specifically remember the story of the Omaha Steaks arriving in the mail right when you guys were about to run out of food to eat. Wait to you hear our latest God provision story! He is SO good to His kids!

  4. We were up in that Same area the beginning of June! They campground was awesome. “Quarryville” Jellystone park. Was so close to Hershey

  5. Oh my we had been camping in Gardiner, NY during the heat warning. We were at a Jellystone park. Our spot was on top of a hill with no shade in like 109 degree days. So I can understand . We used the pool , did the malls and things like that to stay cooler.

  6. I loved the birthday party, My own is in July too… but I am a LOT older. I’m going for the record since Methuselah lived to be 969 years old. Blessings! If you get a chance, stop over and see the old man.

  7. My brother, our nation must repent from it’s sins, which are many. In our nation the problem really is us christians, we are so complacent and aren’t recklessly abandoned to Christ. Here’s Nehemiah’s cry: Neh 1:6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and CONFESS the sins of the children of Israel, which WE HAVE SINNED AGAINST THEE: both I and my father’s house have sinned.

    • I remember you both talking about that. My wife and I completed 2 years of Discipleship training 4 years ago, boy was that a wake up call and we are so grateful. We will add you to our prayer white board. We did that same road trip in March/April earlier this year, it was such a great time, got to see the Ark Encounter and so many other things. Such a blessing….

    • Sean Lentini that’s a nice long road trip! Hope you enjoy! We will be leaving from Seattle for Discipleship Training School at YWAM in Kona, HI at the end of September and we won’t be back in the states until February at the latest or December at the earliest. If our outreach team gets assigned to the US it will be southeast, so if you are still around in NC in December there is a slight chance we might be there 🙂

    • We travel on and off in our 45′ RV as well. I hope we cross paths, we will be traveling from San Diego to North Carolina in Oct/November….

    • I believe GOD is making a last call to America, just as He did with Lot and his family before He destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah. I praise the LORD for your journey and pray you will continue to press in by denying yourself, picking up your cross daily, and following our LORD JESUS CHRIST (Luke 9:23-24). I believe we are called to judge righteously, not in hyprocrisy (I Cor 2:15), by warning people of GOD’s impeding judgement and wrath to come. At the same time, we remind them of how He demonstrated His love for them, and paid the ultimate penalty for our sin. Therefore, He is desires to grant GRACE to those who are willing to humble themselves, just as Nehemiah did, but He will resist the proud. Love you guys, follow Him recklessly.
